L’Institut Supérieur Spécialisé de la Mode, better known as MOD’SPE PARIS Central Europe, is a fashion business school which offers bachelor and master programs culminating with state-accredited degrees.

Created in 1993 as an initiative of professionals from the French Federation of Women’s Ready-to-wear (la Fédération Française du Prêt- à-Porter Féminin) MOD’SPE Paris is the French Fashion Business School, which opened its campus in Bratislava, Slovakia. The name is MOD’SPE PARIS CENTRAL EUROPE. We offer a perfect blend of fashion industry knowledge and business approach, this is to say of creativity and efficiency. Product knowledge, passion, open-mindedness towards the world and its constant evolution prepare our students for most exciting careers in fashion.

MOD’SPE Paris Central Europe trains future professionals to comprehend the latest strategies of marketing, sales, purchase and communication in fashion, more generally luxury sector and design. Another important mission of MOD’SPE Paris Central Europe is to strengthen the competences of fashion professionals all along their careers to help them foresee and anticipate major changes and trends of strategic importance for the brands.

International Activities

Since its creation, MOD’SPE Paris always emphasized the importance of international development by promoting student exchange programs, internships abroad as well academic engineering for foreign partners.

The school has already built a network of around 30 partner institutions (schools, universities, government organizations, etc.) in all four corners of the globe (China, India, Morocco, Russia, Tunisia, United States, etc.).

International exchanges are a major component of the modern fashion world. In recognition of this fact, the school has developed partnerships with major players in the industry from across the globe, working closely with foreign universities and companies. This is how were developed strong partnerships with Marist College, NY, University of Rhode Island, RI and Université du Québec à Montréal in Canada to name just few of MOD’SPE international network.

With more than 800 books and publications on fashion history and culture, textile technologies, marketing and overall fashion culture, the documentation center helps students gain knowledge of fashion world and enrich their research work. A large choice of fashion magazines and specialized press, as well as project works and marketing researches done by alumni complete the documentation center collection.

Computer Lab

Academic tools would not be complete without equipped computer lab. All available computers have CAD and marketing research software installed. Each MOD’SPE Paris CE student has an individual access to the foreign language e-learning platform.

Fabric Room

The space dedicated to research and inspiration, the Fabric Room gives students access to a large choice of fabric samples, representing the latest trends as well as vintage textiles. This is to help students to better choose their fabrics to build up their collection plan.

Every year, the fabric room gets new supplies representing the newest trends of the market.
